    Travel the World in One Fair, Guangzhou International Travel Fair 2017 Grandly Opens on Feb.23.

    The golden rooster crows at dawn and spring has come back to the earth. In such a beautiful season, Guangzhou International Travel Fair 2017 (GITF 2017) will be grandly held at China Import and Export Fair Complex Guangzhou on February 23-25, 2017.Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the fair, GITF 2017 will attract nearly 980 exhibitors from 51 countries and regions within a display area of 28,600 sqm. The international exhibitors account for 66% and France is the partner country.

    Under the brand new planning, Guangzhou International Travel Fair 2017 consists of 4 exhibiting halls, including International Travel & MICE, Domestic Travel, Local Travel Agent and Theme Tourism.Worth to mention that Guangzhou Pavilion will make a dazzling debut this year within a display area of 540 sqm, bringing all kinds of distinctive tourism products and establishing a new image for Guangzhou tourism culture. Besides, the annual Guangzhou International Tourism Development Forum will also be held on the first day of the fair, exploring the changes and development of urban tourism in the era of globalization and altogether building GITF as one of the most important international tourism exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. Meanwhile a series of activities are to kick off contemporaneously, including Supply-and-Demand Live Match Meeting, Buyer's Night and 22 Tourism Promotion Meeting.

    Highlight 1: Experiencing Exotic Aroma at the Fair

    As the earliest large-scale international tourism exhibition in China with the longest history,Guangzhou International Travel Fair has enjoyed a unique status of its own in the industry and remained its leading position by its high degree of internationalization and diversification. This year’s fair will attract nearly 980 exhibitors from 51 countries and regions including China, the United States, France, Britain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Greece, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Nepal, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Serbia, Kenya, Morocco, Zambia, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Congo, Uzbekistan, Iran, Dubai and China Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

    As the partner country, France will make its presence within a display area of 102 sqm and grandly introduce its most beautiful island, Reunion. Reunion Island Tourism Board, together with Ostara Airlines, will hold the inaugural ceremony of “Reunion-Guangzhou Direct Flight” on the first day of the fair, providing more convenience for visitors to experience the last adventure in Indian Ocean. New forces of international exhibitors including Virgin Australia and Royal Brunei Airlines will also release more routes on the site, bringing wonderful overseas journeys for visitors.

    Hightlight 2: Glamorous Showcase with Diversified Cultures

    Established in 1993, Guangzhou International Travel Fair will usher its 25th anniversary this year. A batch of domestic provincial tourism bureaus and organizations will actively take participate in the fair, showcasing a variety of tourism products and special services. Worth to mention that Guangzhou Pavilion, organized by Guangzhou Tourism Bureau, will make a dazzling debut this year within a display area of 540 sqm, displaying the history, culture, custom, food, shopping, entertainment, cruise and other tourism brand products of Guangzhou through the new media and diversified means in order to make 800 specially-invited buyers and visitors understand the profound cultural heritage and featured tourism products of the city, establishing a new image of Guangzhou culture and creating a new tourist city card.

    In addition, many tourism bureaus from Hainan, Shaanxi, Wuhan, Chengdu, Nanjing, Jilin, Suzhou, Ningbo, Ordos, Chenzhou, Zhangjiajie, Ganzi, Luoyang, Guilin, Hezhou, Bijie, and Qiannan will join hands with tourism organizations in Guangdong province such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Qingyuan, Shaoguan and Meizhou as well as district-level competent authorities and tourism enterprises from Foshan Nanhai, Shunde, Guangzhou Panyu, Zengcheng, Conghua to bring all kinds of tourism products, information and services with local characteristics, presenting innovative sceneries for visitors and buyers.

    Hightlight 3: Personalized Tourism and Professtional Experience

    In the era of mass tourism, customized tourism options, personalized tourism consumption and considerate tourism service have become the big trend in the industry.Therefore, this year the fair is to set up the costomized tourism zone at the first time, attracting participation of Malaysia YTL Hotel (first exhibition show in China), Brunei Airlines, Brazil China Chamber of Commercem, Sinbad and other trourism agencies, to satisfy high-end and personalied travel demands on all aspects. Other specilized zones are added including Taiwan travel routes & hotels, cruise, caravan scenic spots, hotels, sightseeing bus,etc. The major attention is to be paid to the recently emerging travel ways, such as the upscale travel products, cruise and caravan, to enrich travel activities and arouse in-depth understanding and experience of tourists. What's more, Wanda Travel Town will announce the debut of Guangzhou Wanda Skiing Playground, targeted to surpass Ski Dubai and be unveiled at the end of 2018.
